Join Zachys Monday, November 9 for a special masterclass with Giuseppe Vaira of G.D. Vajra, exploring the distinctive vineyards and wines of one of Piedmont's benchmark estates alongside Luigi Baudana.
The evening begins with an aperitivo of G.D. Vajra N.S. della Neve Extra Brut Rosé before moving into two flights of Barolo. The first explores G.D. Vajra through the 2022 Albe, Coste di Rose, Bricco delle Viole, and Ravera, followed by the 2015 Ravera for a look at the wine with additional bottle age.
The second flight turns to Luigi Baudana in Serralunga d'Alba, comparing the 2022 Serralunga, Baudana, and Cerretta alongside the 2015 Cerretta. Together, the wines offer a compelling look at site, vintage, and the evolution of Barolo with age.
Guests will also have access to an extensive collection of library releases, and Giuseppe will be available to sign bottles during the evening.
A rare chance to taste ten wines across G.D. Vajra and Luigi Baudana, including mature Barolo alongside the new 2022 releases.
