97 Points, Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com: "The 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Chaupin comes mostly from the sandy soils of the Chapouin lieu-dit (there's a splash of La Crau) in the northern part of the appellation. Healthy ruby/plum-hued, it has a gorgeous nose of ripe black cherry and red currants intermixed with spring flowers, loamy soil, graphite, and Provençal spices. All Grenache that was partially destemmed and aged 12 months in foudre and demi-muids, it's incredibly pure, polished, and balanced on the palate, with medium to full body, a ripe, layered, multi-dimensional mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and a great finish. It's in a fresher, pretty style (which is the vintage), yet this brings everything: complexity, richness, depth, and length. It's a stunning 2024 to drink over the coming 20 years.
