Critic Reviews
Antonio Galloni
91-93 Points
91-93 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous: "The 2024 Aile d'Argent is very fine. Silky, aromatic and brisk, the 2024 is impeccably done. White pepper, chalk, slate, mint, lemon peel and marzipan are some of the many notes that take shape in the glass. Attractive tropical overtones from the Sauvignon Gris add lift. There's a bit more lees-stirring than in most years, and also a bit of malolactic fermentation, both of which work so well within the wine's framework." 04/25
Jane Anson
94 Points
94 Points, Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux: "Beautiful aromatics, this is a gorgeous wine, with white peach, pear, lemon peel, capsicum, sage spices, gunsmoke, apple orchard. Extremely elegant and finessed, builds through the palate, a slow slow build that layers on grated ginger, lemongrass, white pepper, cold ash, gunsmoke... sublte layers that set it apart. Harvest 9 to 20 September. 3.05 pH. 45% new oak. Just 6.5% malolactic only on Sauvignon Blanc, with more lees stirring than in a normal year." 04/25
Jeb Dunnuck
93-95 Points
93-95 Points, Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com: "The 2024 Château Mouton Rothschild Aile D'Argent Blanc is beautiful, with crisp citrus, grapefruit and sappy, floral nuances in a medium-bodied, fresh, focused style. I love its overall balance, and it has integrated, clean acidity, and a great finish." 05/25
James Suckling
96-97 Points
96-97 Points, James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com: "Complex and bright, showing sea urchins, lemon zest, spices and subtle cream. Medium-bodied with a sense of chalkiness to the middle. Lightly saline and quite long. There is no baby fat here. 54.5% sauvignon blanc, 33% semillon and 12.5% sauvignon gris. Aged in 45% new wood barrels." 05/25
The Wine Independent
92-94 Points
92-94 Points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent: "Skips out with vibrant notes of lime blossom, green apples, and fresh grapefruit with hints of pineapple and fresh pears. The light to medium-bodied palate delivers great intensity and tension with a silky texture and long tangy finish. Yum!" 05/28
