Wine Advocate
94 Points
94 Points, Joe Czerwinski, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The full-bodied 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Highest Beauty weighs in at 15.3% alcohol and comes across as just slightly warm as a result, with an open-knit feel and forward nature, despite the inclusion of 5% from the 2023 vintage (this is common in Napa's 2022 vintage wines). Gentle leafy notes add some complexity to the wine's captivating mix of redcurrants and black cherries, all framed by hints of vanilla. Drink this vintage over the next decade or so." 10/25

95 Points, Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com: "All Cabernet Sauvignon (there might be a tiny splash of Petit Verdot), the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Highest Beauty sports a healthy ruby/plum hue as well as both red and blue fruits, sappy spring flowers, savory herbs, and tobacco. It's medium to full-bodied, has a nicely focused, balanced mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. It's another 2022 that will evolve nicely over the coming 10-15 years. Drink 2025-2040. (Drink between 2025-2040)" 12/25

95 Points
95 Points, Jonathan Cristaldi, Decanter: "The 2022 Highest Beauty is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, named after the Greek meaning of ‘To Kalon.’ Crafted by veteran Napa winemaker Andy Erickson, with Tony Biagi assisting in blending, this wine blends three clones from three top blocks within To Kalon Vineyard and spent 18–20 months in 100% new French oak. It opens with bright Bing cherry, layered with violet and rose petal aromatics, underpinned by a distinct ironstone minerality. Full-bodied and plush, the palate unfolds with juicy cherry and plum fruit, intertwined with exotic brown spices, perfumed florals, and soaring tannins. The extravagant finish lingers with wet slate minerality and wild sagebrush, delivering remarkable depth, complexity, and an unmistakable expression of To Kalon Vineyard." 02/25
