The bright dark cherry fruit, with hints of strawberry, yield to an elegant, racy and layered wine. The partial whole cluster is evident in the high toned finish and you get only a sense of the oak aging while not actually tasting any oak. The finish is long and clean.

The 2022 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Lavières 1er Cru has a very appealing bouquet with dark cherry, wild strawberry, and light raspberry scents, with sous-bois percolating through with time. The palate is fresh and sapid on the entry, a fine-boned Les Lavières with a poised, penetrating finish that gets the saliva flowing.
