Full-bodied and thick, the acidity is somehow well balanced, the oak isn't excessive, and the overall effect is an almost absurdly ripe and opulent St-Joseph, but somehow it remains enjoyable thanks to its inner freshness. It's very good, almost Hermitage-like, but be prepared for a big mouthful!" 09/23
