92-94 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2025 Rouget, which uses 30% vinification intégrale and was raised for 18 months in oak, has a relatively light and open-knit bouquet with black cherries, cassis and light violet scents, less powerful than recent vintages of Rouget. The palate is smooth on the entry, well balanced, not amazingly complex, but it feels harmonious and hats off to the silliness that comes through on the finish. This is a fine Rouget that will give a lot of pleasure over the next 15 to 20 years." 05/26

On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with ample mid-palate depth, ripe tannins, and beautiful overall balance. Based on 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc that's being raised 18 months in 20% new barrels, it checks in at 13% alcohol with a pH of 3.65. I like it!" 05/26

Juicy and upfront, this has such a bright opening with clarity to the bramble fruit and acidity that drives the wine forward. Perfumed and pure, very classy and drinkable.
