Established in 1919, Pierre Peters is a small family run estate located in the Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil, - it is here that the famous names of Selosse and Salon source their prized grapes.? Terroir of “Chétillon” is situated in the Grand Cru village of Les Mesnil sur Oger and enjoys an almost perfect aspect. Three parcels from this terroir, ranging from 40 to 70 years, yield the grapes used to make this legendary cuvee. They are vinified separately and undergo different vinifications. Each vintage ages at least 6 years on the lees before disgorgement. This wines secret resides in its mineral power, incredible purity and fantastic capacity to age.

Critic Reviews
Antonio Galloni
97+ Points
97+ Points, Antonio Galloni, VInous: "The 2013 Brut Cuvée Spéciale Les Chétillons is outrageously beautiful. I remember tasting it as vin clair in March, 2014. Today, as a finished Champagne from bottle, the 2013 captures all of the intense ripeness and bright acidity that make this vintage so exceptional. A wine of cut and brilliance, the 2013 will thrill readers who enjoy Blanc de Blancs. Citrus, marzipan, slate, crushed rocks and floral notes pulse with tremendous energy. Readers will have to be patient with the 2013. It is a total knock-out. Wow! Dosage is 3.5-4.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: April, 2020."

94 Points
94 Points, Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator: "A harmonious Champagne that dances across the palate, with a fine, lacy mousse carrying a delicate mesh of Gala apple, yellow plum, tangerine and anise flavors. Sleek and mouthwatering, with a chalky underpinning and hints of blanched almond and biscuit on the creamy finish. Drink now through 2030." 12/20
