• Limited edition single malt whisky produced by Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel • malted barley; a small percentage is peated to 40 ppm • Double distilled in copper pot stills • Aged 3–4 years in varying cask types on the coast of the Dead Sea, in the En Gedi oasis and natural reserve; non-age statement • Cask types include primarily ex-bourbon (75%) with some STR (shaved, toasted, and re-charred) wine casks, and ex-red wine, ex-rye, ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry, and virgin oak casks • Blended from 18 casks in total • A nose of dried fruit, rose petals, and gentle pipe smoke leads to a savory palate of sage, baking spice, and dark caramel with a mineralic finish displaying a note of hibiscus flower • Star-K Kosher Certified • Non-chill filtered; 55.5% ABV As part of M&H’s experimental Apex series, this small-batch whisky was aged entirely in a natural reserve abutting the Dead Sea—nearly ten times as salty as any ocean and whose shores represent the lowest land-based elevation
