The grapes are grown on the lower slopes, exposed south-south-east. Like the Montagny this has a fullish colour but with a stricter nose, “Japanese pear” according to Bruno, with oak apparent again on the nose There are spices too but complemented by a warm succulence, backed by just the right acidity.
