Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2012 presents notes of great maturity such as licorice, but also notes of freshness, such as menthol. Fruits and a slight woodiness of oak complete this aromatic complexity while the alcohol level is once again high and gives the wine a sort of lightness, an airy side but you should not rely on it because the wine is very powerful. The tannins are coated, leaving an impression of softness putting the taster under a spell. There is great balance and harmony in this wine. It is also marked by a very good length, the prerogative of great wines.
