Kubler Absinthe Verte Suisse (375ML)

• Verte (green) absinthe distilled by 4th generation Master Distiller Yves Kübler at Blackmint SA Distillery in Môtiers, Val-de-Travers, Switzerland • The “holy trinity” of absinthe botanicals—Grand wormwood (A. absinthium) grown in the Vals-de-Travers, sweet fennel, and green anise—are macerated in neutral wheat spirit then distilled in a Holstein copper pot still • After distillation the spirit undergoes a secondary, 16-hour maceration of hyssop, lemon balm, peppermint, and petite wormwood (Artemisia pontica) • After resting for 2–3 weeks, the spirit is filtered and proofed with alpine spring water. It’s then allowed to rest in stainless steel in a dark, climate-controlled environment for 2–3 months before bottling • Each bottle is vintage dated to highlight the unique character of any given year’s wormwood harvest • A bold nose of bright mint, sweet fennel, and chamomile tea precedes a multi-dimensional palate of notes both sweet and savory.
