Jeb Dunnuck
93 Points
93 Points, Audrey Frick, JebDunnuck.com: "Based on the 2019 vintage, the NV Champagne Cuvée 747 pours a golden straw hue, and the nose is quite expressive and powerful immediately on opening, with notes of ripe red plum fruit, savory broth, and wet stone. Full-bodied, assertive, and warming on the palate, with a strong personality and savory umami notes through the finish, it’s perfect to pair with roast chicken and root vegetables. Great autumnal feel. Drink over the coming 10 or more years. Disgorged in October of 2023 with 1.5 grams per liter dosage. 186,372 bottles were produced." 12/24

93+ Points, Yohan Castaing, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Based on the 2019 vintage, the NV Extra-Brut Cuvée No. 747 reveals a lively, delicate bouquet of white pepper, tangerine, lemon oil, herbs and red berries mingled with lovely menthol notes. Medium to full-bodied, tense and sappy, it's layered with a vinous core of fruit and a delicately saline finish. This is not the most opulent iteration from this house but rather an edition that closely reflects the character of the vintage, marked by its tension and phenolic complexity." 10/24

93 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous: "The NV Extra-Brut Cuvée No. 747 (2019 base) marries textural richness with notable vibrancy. Lemon confit, mint, white pepper, tangerine peel and graphite lend energy throughout. All the elements are very nicely balanced. I especially admire the textural depth here. Spring frost was particularly damaging to the Chardonnay, so the blend is distinctly Pinot-leaning in this release. Dosage is 1.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: October 2023. (Drink between 2024-2034)" 03/24
James Suckling
96 Points
96 Points, James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com: "A structured and creamy-textured Jacquesson NV with a very fine-bubble texture and lovely polish. It's medium- to full-bodied with length and sophistication, in a friendly and approachable way. Yet there is something that tells you it's going to deliver more with aging. More pinot in the blend than in other years, because the chardonnay was affected by frost, and it is impressive. Chewy at the end with phenolic tension and a slight bitterness, though in a good way. 2019 base. Three years on the yeast. Dosage 1.5g/L. Drink or hold." 07/24
