• Annually released génépi aperitif produced by Forthave Spirits in Brooklyn, New York • 2024 release; fourth vintage of Forthave YELLOW • Base wine grown and vinified in 2023 by Vanessa Hoffman from Knapp Winery in Romulus, New York, and composed of a grape blend of 70% Seyval blanc and 30% Cayuga White • White génépi (A. mutellina) from the French Alps undergoes a meticulous combination of macerations in alcohol and water and partial redistillation in a 400-liter bain marie hybrid pot still • Non-GMO sugarcane distillate from Brazil is used in the maceration process and for fortification • Sweetened with organic, raw cane sugar and rested for 2 months before bottling • No added coloring • Approximately 6666 bottles produced • NY Farm Distillery License eligible • Refrigerate upon opening; suggested shelf life of 6 months once opened if kept cold • 24% ABV Forthave continues to illustrate the rewards of playful experimentation with their annually released génépi liqueur, YELLOW.
