90 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2025 Caillou Blanc Talbot is the first vintage that will be classed as a Médoc Blanc after the change in rules. It has an attractive, quite floral bouquet, white flowers, hints of apricot and custard creams. The palate is well balanced, with a fine bead of acidity, bright and lively, a little tang on the finish, but I like how the 88% Sauvignon imparts tension, and so this is a Caillou with less exoticism. Very fine." 05/26

Round and filling, this has an immediate weight on the palate, silky rich, juicy and full of fruit purity with a cool, creamy peach aspect on the finish. I love the slightly waxy, caramel, vanilla aspect with a shot of pineapple, white peach and mouthwatering lemon. A white for food and this slightly richer style is perfect for that. Buy and drink up! 3.46pH. Less batonnage, shortened barrel ageing to six months." 03/26
