Intense clear yellow color. It is intense and complex on the nose: in the early years it develops pear, peach, acacia flowers, hawthorn hints and mineral notes. The honey tone is very typical of this wine. In the mouth, it is dry, warm and soft. Its high alcohol level is well balanced by its high organic acids content. The texture is balanced and very persistent.

Rich and inviting, this Derthona opens with aromas of roasted stone fruit, apricot preserves, and a drizzle of honey, all framed by delicate white and yellow flowers. At first sip the wine envelops the palate with a rich and unctuous feeling, but it’s quickly washed away by a wave of freshness. Peach skin and a lemon-lime flavors sparkle on the finish, leaving the mouth watering and craving another sip.

This is complex and aromatic with spiced citrus peel, white peaches, mangoes, dried flowers and praline on offer. Bright and delicious with a full body, steady acidity and attractive phenolic tension to it. Mineral and zesty at the end. Drink or hold.
