With inviting hints of licorice wood, black currants, and cherries, Pomerol's charm begins on the nose. The wine is full-bodied and has buoyant tannins without engaging their elegance. A sapid and harmonious wine which expresses the solar profile of the vintage, while keeping a lot of vivacity. Composed of 90 % Merlot and 10 % Cabernet Franc that was matured for 18 months in French fine oak barrels (50% new, 50% one wine). Operated by the Bourotte family since 1926 in the heart of Pomerol. The estate has banned chemicals and pesticides from our vineyards for several years now and only use organic farming techniques. They are also introducing biodynamic practices, which helps to create a complete and balanced ecosystem.
