• Nebbiolo from two plots in Gattera with calcareous clay soils • Vineyard planted in 1960 at 250 meters above sea level to a 40-50% slope gradient • Fermentation with indigenous yeasts, 6-8 days maceration in roto-fermentor and 10-15 days completion of fermentation in stainless steel tanks • Aging in 15hl barrels of Slavonian oak for 24 months prior to bottling, followed by 12 months in bottle • 300 cases produced annually
