93 Points, Michaela Morris, Decanter: "A very pretty and perfumed Barbaresco replete with red cherry, red currant, sweet spice and chopped mint. Palpable purity and succulence define the palate. The tannins are fine and powdery with a subtle but satisfying chew, then a mid-length finish of nutmeg and tobacco. Winemaker at Luigi Oddero, Francesco Versio introduced his own label in 2013. Between owned and rented vineyards and purchased fruit, he has managed to piece together 2.5 hectares, all within the Neive township where he is from. The 2022 saw a shorter maceration (15-20 days versus 40-45 in 2021). One to watch." 11/24
