Bandol Rose Terrebrune 2025 (750ML)

Domaine de Terrebrune is named for the brown clay it farms organically at Ollioules, just east of Bandol, where limestone pebbles stud the clay alongside marl and a blue limestone bedrock. Georges Delille bought the property in 1963 and spent a decade terracing and replanting before his son Reynald joined him for their first bottled vintage in 1980; Reynald still makes the wine. The 2025 Bandol Rosé blends 50% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache and 25% Cinsault, raised 6–8 months in stainless steel. White peach, apricot and citrus meet thyme, mint, graphite and white pepper, and the texture is weighty, almost oily, with firm grip and a long saline finish. It is tightly wound in youth and opens with air; critics suggest waiting until around 2027. Bring it to the table with grilled loup de mer, bouillabaisse or aïoli with salt cod.
