It’s impressively classical for the region, a wine of gorgeous restraint and savory Cabernet character. Grilled herbs, cedar, blackcurrant, graphite and rich cocoa-like tannin explode through a velvety yet properly structured finish, all framed by ultra-fine tannin. There’s such a discernible house style here, but it comes across with intent and finesse. This is one of the finest value Cabernets in the country. Aging was 15 months in 100% new American oak.
