This is determined to make an impression. The palate is balanced with a touch of oyster shell on the entry, modest depth and plenty of extract, though it does not quite possess the class of Jadot's other Grand Crus. The exceptionally rich and moderately dense larger-scaled flavors also flash impressive power before culminating in a clean, bright, long and youthfully austere finale that is every bit as compact as the Montrachet.
