94-95 Points, James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com: “This is very classic Sociando with brightness and linearity to the wine, as well as blackcurrants and a citrus undertone. Medium-bodied with refined tannins. Long, very crisp and fresh. Lower pH here of 3.55.” 04/24

91-93 Points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent: "A blend of 50% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Cabernet Franc, the 2023 Sociando-Mallet is deep garnet-purple in color. It slowly emerges from the glass with pure notes of fresh strawberries and black raspberries, plus hints of lavender, rose bud tea, and wild thyme, with a touch of cinnamon. The medium-bodied palate is bright, crunchy, and tightly wound, with great tension and lightly chewy tannins to support, finishing on a minerally note." 05/24

90-92 Points, William Kelley, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate: “The 2023 Sociando-Mallet is showing well, exhibiting aromas of cherries and cassis mingled with hints of pencil shavings and toasty new oak. Medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, it's lively and classically structured, with sweet tannins, bright acids and a penetrating finish. The blend is 50% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc, which attained 14% alcohol.” 04/24
