From Champagne's iconic, family-owned house—renowned for its Pinot Noir-driven style—the 2015 vintage captures the unique character of one of Champagne’s hottest, yet ultimately impressive, years. The 2015 Bollinger Grande Année Rosé is a perfect balance between refinement and opulence, showcasing a tightly knit yet voluminous character.  Aromas of roasted almond and vanilla wafer mingle seamlessly with sun-dried black cherry, baked peach, blood orange sorbet, and candied ginger. Racy acidity and a dash of barely-there salinity heighten the well-delineated flavors.  This vintage displays exceptional harmony, with its pithy structure beautifully poised on a fleshy stone fruit finish.  Sourced from select plots within Bollinger's La Côte aux Enfants vineyard, the Pinot Noir contributes both black and red fruit nuances, along with a touch of blood orange. You can delight in this Rose for over the next two decades. For seafood, pair the Champagne with ahi tuna tartare or pan-seared scallops. If you prefer something heartier, grilled lamb chops with rosemary will complement the sparkling wine's rich and complex flavor profile.

96 Points, William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Bollinger's 2015 Brut La Grande Année Rosé was disgorged in May last year with seven grams per liter dosage. Offering up deep aromas of orchard fruits, blood orange, mandarin rind and peach mingled with nuances of coffee, praline and fino sherry, it's medium to full-bodied, pillowy and layered, with a broad attack that segues into a vinous palate framed by high levels of structuring dry extract that makes its presence felt on the sapid, nutty and penetrating finish. Given the skin maturity and inherent structure of the year, the Bollinger team elected to include only 4.5% of still red wine in the blend, a comparatively low percentage." 03/24

95 Points, James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com: "This elegant, medium-bodied rosé includes select plots of pinot noir from the Cote Aux Enfants vineyard. It shows a medium orange-amber color, dark cherry-skin and candied-plum aromas followed by vivid strawberry and blood-orange flavors. Marked by finesse, light but very flavorful, complex and layered. Drink or hold." 03/24

97 Points, Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator: "Like a racing spinnaker, this is tightly trimmed yet voluminous in character. Toasty notes of roasted almond and vanilla wafer are deftly integrated with sun-dried black cherry, baked peach, blood orange sorbet and candied ginger flavors, all well-defined by racy acidity and a subtle streak of salinity. This is long and fragrant, with pain d'épices, graphite and tea rose notes playing on the finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Disgorged February 2024. Drink now through 2040." 09/24

96 Points, Audrey Frick, JebDunnuck.com: "The same blend as the Blanc but including 5% red wine from their La Côte aux Enfants parcel, the 2015 Champagne La Grande Année Brut Rosé is a lovely wine on the nose, and I think I might like it more than the Blanc in this vintage. Offering aromas of raspberry preserve and crushed roses, the structure really comes together and feels more harmonious in this vintage, with its pithy structure balanced by more fleshy stone fruit on the finish. It also has notes of nectarine to balance out the more savory style that finishes the wine. It’s very well-integrated and long, with a more refined, stony texture. A very lovely wine that I would jump to purchase, it’s going to drink well over the coming 20 years." 12/24
