Distillery Tasting Note: "Exquisitely balanced: Ardray represents the unbreakable bond between both Scotland and Japan’s whisky makers. The Nose is gentle & intriguing, hinting at the long-lasting creamy sweetness with hints of apple, pear, and plum lying over a soft savoury smokiness and hints of oregano and clementine.On the palate, an initial mild, gentle floral and citrus fruitiness providing lightness and elegance. As it expands its vanilla custard creaminess and silkiness comes to the fore, creating a complex, multi-layered and rich mouthfeel. The Finish is surprisingly long-lasting, with a mellow, cushioning sweet smokiness and soft hints of white pepper and oregano. Non-Chill filtered to make the most of the full complex character of the whiskies in the blend. Blended and bottled in Scotland."
