A vineyard in El Tiemblo joins La Bruja for 2024, one of the new sources Dani Landi and Fernando García brought in after frost left their main site with just 9,000 kilos of grapes, against up to 30,000 in a normal year. The two childhood friends returned to the Sierra de Gredos after studying enology and founded Comando G in 2008, building their name on Garnacha from these mountains. The reworked sourcing makes this a regional Gredos red from the Cebreros side. Next to the 2023 it is fruitier, rounder and more succulent, yet the aromatics stay lifted, with violets and wild herbs over the riper fruit. The frame is slender, the tannins fine and dusty, and 14% alcohol sits comfortably within a fresh, balanced whole. Pair it with Ibérico pork, mushrooms off the grill or morcilla.

94 Points, Luis Gutierrez, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They had to source new vineyards for the 2024 La Bruja, one from El Tiemblo, as the main vineyard delivered only 9,000 kilos of grapes because of the frost (it can produce up to 30,000 kilos in a normal year). So, this is a regional Gredos red from the Cebreros part. It has more fruit and is rounder and juicier than the 2023, but it still delivers very pretty aromas of violets and wild herbs. It has a fine-boned mouthfeel with chalky tannins. It comes in at 14% alcohol, with good freshness and balance. 22,678 bottles and 242 magnums produced. It was bottled in August 2025." 12/25
