Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Agricola Tiberio 2025 (750ML)

In the hill town of Cugnoli, a single south-facing parcel planted in 2000 supplies every bottle of Tiberio’s Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo. The vines are massal selections of Montepulciano on limestone at 350 meters, and the wine is 100% Montepulciano. Winemaker Cristiana Tiberio uses free-run juice alone, with no pressing, which gives the wine its delicacy. 2025 was a welcome reset after a hard prior year: a cooler summer and rain at the right moments in spring and summer kept the fruit fresh and the aromatics intact. Expect rose, wild strawberry and blueberry with a damp-stone edge, a silky, seamless texture and a snap of acidity that ends tart, salty and citrusy. Critics expect it to hold through 2034. At the table, think brodetto, a margherita pizza or a plate of salumi.
