Frog's Leap Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc 2024 (750ML)

Frog’s Leap picked its 2024 Sauvignon Blanc entirely at night, between August 14 and August 30, to keep the fruit cool and its acidity intact. The wine is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from certified organic, dry-farmed vineyards, mostly in Rutherford, where river clay-silt loams and heavy Maxwell-series clay hold enough water to do without irrigation. Galleron Vineyard anchors the blend, joined by Navone (27%), Williams Rossi (18%), Longwood Ranch (10%), Chavez-Leeds (6%) and neighboring Rossi ranches (4%). A wet winter and mild summer brought back a classic, even-paced season after years of drought, and Galleron’s young vines cropped especially well. The result is crisp and elegant: white peach, slate and mint, a green edge of tomato leaf and sage, and a light tropical lift at the close. Pair it with fresh goat cheese, ceviche, spring pea risotto or grilled shrimp.
