Résonance joins Maison Louis Jadot's winemaking to Willamette Valley fruit, and winemaker Guillaume Large spent more than a decade working with Jadot's Jacques Lardière before moving from Burgundy to Oregon. This 100% Chardonnay draws on the estate's Résonance, Découverte and Home Ranch vineyards plus other Willamette sites. The 2023 season opened cold and wet, with snow in February and March and slow growth after budbreak in early May; warm, dry weather from mid-May brought quick flowering in mid-June, and cooler nights from late August kept acidity intact. Fermentation took place in French oak and concrete eggs, followed by 16 months split among barrels (20% new), steel tanks and egg. Bright gold, it offers jasmine, white peach and a hint of fresh brioche, and the palate is taut, lively and finely drawn. Serve it with roast chicken, seared scallops or halibut in beurre blanc.

Critic Reviews

James Suckling
92 Points
92 Points, James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com: "Spicy and minerally, with aromas of pears, grilled lemons, smoked herbs, white pepper and a flinty undertone. The clean and crisp palate shows a medium body, a sleek, polished texture and crunchy acidity. Flavorful and textural. Drink or hold." 03/25
Wine Spectator

93 Points, Tim Fish, Wine Spectator: "Lush in texture yet steely with fresh acidity, this white offers refined accents of apple, lemon verbena and stony mineral while gliding on the fresh finish. Drink now. 1,937 cases made." 08/25
