"What a fabulously focused and elegant dry riesling in spite of the generous stone fruit and pineapple notes. So much energy on the concentrated and highly structured medium-bodied palate. Very long, complete finish that is so delightful you're pulled inexorably back for more. From biodynamically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Rechbächel Wachenheim P.C. Monopol opens with savory and peppery phenol notes, which represent the maceration time of the grapes before pressing, whereas the fruit doesn't shine in its normal brightness at this stage. This medium to full-bodied wine is round, fresh and elegant on the fine and creamy-textured palate and savory on the salivating, well-structured and intense finish. 12.5% stated alcohol. Diam 30 cork. Tasted at the domaine in January 2025."
