The 2019 Lisagathe is a weighty, round shouldered Cabernet Franc and yet, as a classic and true Saumur-Champigny, it doesn’t become heavy. There's plentiful red cherry fruit alongside pencil lead spice. The tannins are well handled, coating the palate with refined, lightly chalky tannins and a line of acidity that creates fine tension. Well judged and remains true of its type while reflecting the vintage.Drinking window 2022-2031
