• CCOF Certified Organic • 100% Chardonnay • Hanzell Estate Vineyard (Sonoma Valley AVA) • Sourced from de Brye, Zellerbach, Day, Ramos and Ambassador’s 1953 vineyard blocks • Average vine age: 32-year-old • Red Hills Series and Raynor-Montara clay-loam soils • 415-810 ft. elevation • Hand-harvested • Two hours minimum juice and skin contact prior to pressing • Fermented in 72% stainless steel and 28% new French oak barrels • Lees stirred for first two months • 28% of all barrels go through malolactic fermentation • Aged 18 months total in mix of new French oak, used French oak & stainless-steel • 13.8% abv
