95 Points, Aldo Fiordelli, Decanter: "Villa Le Prata, overlooking Tavernelle and surrounded by forest at 500 metres above sea level, is a small 2.3-hectare hidden gem of Montalcino. Until recently, viticulture and winemaking was not valued enough, but now with the talents of consultant Graziana Grassini, the style is clean and elegant. Spontaneously fermented, macerated for at least 30 days and aged in large Slavonian oak for 36 months, it's deep and smoky with restrained blood orange and cherry aromas, very floral and slightly balsamic in a kind of Soldera style.
