More interesting are the succulent and equally gorgeously textured larger-bodied flavors display impressive power while coating the palate with dry extract that also serves to buffer the firm acid spine supporting the solidly persistent finish. 93-95 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2023 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has quite an intense bouquet with mineral-rich citrus fruit, touches of flint and smoke developing in the glass. It has wonderful definition and gains more presence with several minutes' aeration. The palate is well balanced with a silver bead of acidity threaded through the slightly vanillary fruit. A delicate touch of ginger lends more complexity to the harmonious finish. This is an excellent Bâtard-Montrachet. (Drink between 2027-2048)" 01/25
