93 Points, Luis Gutiérrez, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2022 Finca Villacreces was selected from 14 plots, a total of 64 hectares, that were planted between 1975 and 1994 at 725 meters above sea level. It's composed of 92% Tempranillo and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon (no Merlot in this very warm year), and they used 225- and 500-liter barrels with 20% new oak this year. It has notes of ripe berries and aromatic herbs with a spicy twist. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, with abundant, fine tannins and integrated oak. It comes in at 14.2% alcohol, a pH of 3.65 and 5.78 grams of acidity. 621,017 bottles, 8,000 magnums and 1,000 double magnums produced. It was bottled in September 2024." 06/25
