John Gilman
94 Points
94 Points, John Gilman, View from the Cellar: "The 2023 Meursault “Perrières” from Maison Drouhin is really a beautiful wine this year. The bouquet is deep, pure and shows off the perfectly ripe, but fresh and vibrant fruit tones of the vintage beautifully, offering up scents of pear, passion fruit, hazelnuts, a great base of chalky minerality, vanillin oak and a floral topnote of apple blossoms. On the palate the wine is deep, pure, full-bodied and zesty, with a great core of fruit, superb soil signature, a lovely spine of acidity and impeccable balance on the long, precise and complex finish. Great juice that will drink very well early on in its life, but also age long and seamlessly. Though it will be delicious from release, my inclination would be to try to give it at least a few years in the cellar to further develop before starting to pull corks. 2028-2050+." 01/25 #115

91-94 Points
91-94 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy: "Mid lemon, with more oak on the nose. Plenty of weight here, with some Perrières minerals as well as flesh, and an attractive aftertaste, still oaky, but that will integrate easily enough with time." 11/24
Burghound
91-94 Points
91-94 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "Soft wood sets off the cool, pretty and elegant aromas of honeysuckle, white orchard fruit and abundant spice and wet stone nuances. The surprisingly rich and caressing medium weight flavors possess a highly seductive mid-palate mouthfeel before terminating in mineral-driven, youthfully austere and impressively long finale. This classy effort is excellent with the development potential to match." 06/25
Neal Martin
93-95 Points
93-95 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2023 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a detailed bouquet with fresh citrus fruit and impressive _mineralité _that comes through with aeration. It is less immediate than others. The palate is well balanced with fine definition. This is more a textural Perrières than mineral-driven. It's powerful toward the finish, with a tingle of Sichuan pepper on the aftertaste. (Drink between 2027-2045)" 01/25

91-93 Points
91-93 Points, William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2023 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières opens in the glass with aromas of pear and sweet citrus oil mingled with toasted nuts and vanilla pod. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and chalky, with lively acids and a long, saline finish, it's a strong effort." 01/25
