91-93 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "A wonderfully elegant, cool and restrained nose somewhat grudgingly reveals its combination of equally overtly floral and spicy red cherry scents. Once again the medium weight flavors are not especially dense but they are impressively sleek and refined while displaying fine length on the stony and highly seductive finale. 92-94 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru comes from four of five different lieux-dits that are personally owned by the Drouhins. This is clean and pure on the nose. The 30% whole cluster is seamlessly integrated, with fine mineralité in the background. The palate is medium-bodied, silky smooth and beautifully balanced with fine tannins and a dash of white pepper and sous-bois toward the finish. This is a commendable follow-up to the 2022 and may even surpass it. (Drink between 2027-2042)" 01/25
