One of Pomerol’s smallest properties that regularly produces one of its most complex and thrillingly succulent wines. In 2022, Hosanna has particularly impressive, fresh perfume and mouthcoating richness, thanks to the produce of the old vine plots having been exceptional this year. The palate is full and rich, with dense fleshiness and velvety tannins. The finish has poise and stunningly fresh with outstanding length. Château Hosanna is unclassified but has historically been considered among the great crus of the region. The property is situated south of Château Lafleur, west of Château Pétrus and north of Château Vieux Certan.

It has a perfumed, lifted, floral bouquet of blue fruits, candied violets, orange blossom, and spice. This carries to a full-bodied, rich, concentrated, firm Hosanna with plenty of tannins, good mid-palate depth, and outstanding length. I don't see this matching the truly great vintages from this château, but it's clearly an impressive Pomerol." 5/23
