95 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru, which contains around 40% whole bunch, is very well-defined on the nose with brambly red fruit, wilted rose and iris petals, hints of undergrowth, thyme and rosemary emerging with time. The palate is well balanced, sporting a very subtle garrigue-like element that becomes accentuated both on the nose and palate with time. Tender on the finish. Superb." 03/22

Glowing purple, not too deep, richly plummy, but very harmonious, sweet ripe raspberry with cherry and floral top notes, a gorgeous of Amoureuses with some persistence. 97 Points, John Gilman, View from the Cellar: "Maison Drouhin’s les Amoureuses is always one of the finest bottlings to be found in the Côte d’Or, and the 2020 version is going to be another cellar treasure in due course. The bouquet is deep and stunning, with a touch of red fruity elements creeping into its bouquet of red and black cherries, gamebird, a beautifully complex base of soil tones, woodsmoke, gamebird, balsam bough and a refined foundation of nutty new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, pure, full-bodied and very refined in profile, with a sappy core, lovely soil undertow, fine-grained tannins and excellent focus and balance on the long, pure and vibrant finish.
