94 Points, Jasper Morris, InsideBurgundy.com: "One barrel of 350 litres, the same as in 2015. Full fruit, plump, extra toughness from Pommard. On the palate there is extra density too, entirely red fruit on the cusp of strawberry and raspberry, with noticeably more tannins than the Beaunes or Volnays, and very good persistence." 10/17

90 Points, William Kelley, Decanter: "There are just 350 litres of the Lafarges’ Pèzerolles, which may be the family’s least well-known wine for this very reason, in 2016. But that is an improvement over the three preceding vintages when none whatsoever was produced. A spicy bouquet of strawberry and orange rind introduces a sappy, full-bodied wine with a bright core of juicy fruit and fine, chalky tannins." 10/17

90-93 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound.com: "A more elegant and airier nose exhibits a mix of both red and dark pinot fruit aromas that are liberally laced with soft earth, spice and floral elements. The mouth feel of the middle weight flavors is more refined though not nearly as dense before concluding in a succulent, caressing and well-balanced finish.
