The quintessential expression of a classic, traditional London Dry Gin. Bold, complex, and aromatic, smooth enough for a Martini, yet rich and balanced, perfect for a Gin & tonic. The nose is floral with summer meadow notes, followed by mellow rounded juniper and zesty, citrus freshness. Dry juniper leads, then reveals lemon tart & orange marmalade, before all the flavors harmonize. Dryness leads the finish, with spicy juniper & a hint of lemon tart emerging. The Sipsmith distillery is based in Chiswick in West London and boasts the first copper pot still to be installed and used in London for 200 years at the time. It's the distillery that helped spearhead the London gin revival.

"Sipsmith London Dry Gin is classic on the nose, but distinctive in its own right. Orange zest dripped with warmed orange blossom honey lends complexity to a nose that has a traditional piney juniper with slight hints of angelica root musk and licorice. The palate of Sipsmith Gin unfolds in three waves. Juniper with an expressed pine character comes on early, with bright lemon curd, mandarin flesh and citrus mid-palate. The finish is where some of those spice notes come through. Cassia, cinnamon and coriander merge into a vague, gentle pepperiness. There's a creamy hint of licorice root that rounds out an herbaceous juniper note with the slightest hint of bitter orange. Sipsmith London Dry Gin is rich and complex; a near-perfect classic style gin." 5/5 Stars, theginisin.com

94 Points, Tim McKirdy, Vine Pair: "Sipsmith somehow manages to have an international presence while tasting and feeling like a craft brand. This gin smells like a fistful of crushed, fresh juniper berries. There's also a lemon zest and black pepper seasoning. The palate is incredibly well-rounded, and almost already tastes like a G&T. This gin checks all the boxes without feeling forced or overly flamboyant." 03/23
