Position Summary: The primary function of the Wine Consultant is to assist our clients with the selection and purchase of wine as well as ensuring that our store is a dynamic, fully stocked and operational environment.

Key responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Helping customers seek out wines and spirits from our diverse selection
  • Process sales and socializing with our clientele
  • Working closely with team members to provide the highest level of customer service and create a memorable shopping experience
  • Other duties as assigned

The right candidate will have a high energy level and a “thirst” to gain valuable knowledge of the wine and spirits industry. Team players with dynamic, outgoing personalities and the ability to multi-task in a fast moving environment are the perfect fit. A strong knowledge of the major wine producing region is a must. The ability to work weekends (Friday nights, Saturdays & Sundays) is essential.

Position Summary: The Floor Support Associate plays a major role in customer satisfaction and fulfillment. This position provides support in all retail functions including display replenishment, customer assistance, shipping, receiving and inventory control.
Key responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Unpacking cartons of merchandise
  • Stocking storage areas
  • Stocking display shelves with new or transferred merchandise
  • Assisting stock team in loading/unloading warehouse trucks
  • Maintaining display cases, shelves and aisles
  • Assisting customers with transporting purchases to their cars

Desired skills and experience:

  • Must possess strong organizational skills; strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential
  • Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
  • A demonstrated ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast pace environment
  • Heavy lifting required (50+ pounds)
  • Must have a HS diploma
  • Computer knowledge is a plus as is wine knowledge

Zachys Auction department is seeking an entry level Logistics Specialist to join a fast paced and dynamic team.

Key responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate all aspects of shipment transportation
  • Ensure all shipments are delivered within the required temperature range
  • Communicate with CONSOL hubs to determine client delivery costs, delivery timeframes, and provide appropriate documentation of deliveries
  • Communicate property shipment details to clients
  • Advise Zachys Customer Service and Private Client Services teams of all movement of CONSOL deliveries
  • Ensure shipments fall under insurance thresholds and advise if additional coverage is needed
  • Establish and maintain relationships with shipping vendors; obtain and compare quotes of several vendors; compare quotes with cost of using in-house resources; determine safe and economical method for property movement.
  • Review vendors’ invoices for accuracy and ensure alignment with quoted amounts; dispute invoiced amounts as necessary
  • Report cost analysis file to manager at the end of every quarter.
  • Create accurate commercial invoices for all international shipments.
  • Manage all assigned NetSuite cases.
  • Provide daily NetSuite case updates to manager.
  • Ensure logistics is stocked with packing boxes, real time temperature trackers and quilts on hand for consignment. 

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • 2 years Logistics experience
  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Microsoft Excel, Outlook experience preferred
  • Netsuite experience a plus

Position Summary: The Junior Wine Specialist is responsible for cataloging and assessing wines for sale, managing auction consignments and developing and maintaining client relationships. This position will require research and special project support as needed.

Key responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Assess wines onsite; approximately 75% of the Junior Wine Specialist’s time will be spent in the onsite temperature-controlled warehouse assessing and cataloging wines for sale
• Assist with catalogue production and auction data administration
• Research inventory and property issues
• Ensure accurate auction database input and upkeep
• Travel to off-site locations for consignment pick up and/or wine assessment
• Develop and establish long-term relationships with consignors; maintain consignor records
• Research wines for accurate pricing and provenance
• Provide support during auctions as needed (i.e., executing bids, attending sale room tasting bottle table, data entry, etc.)
• Special projects as assigned

Required experience, skills, and abilities:

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience required
• WSET Level II or equivalent sommelier training required
• Must be a team player with a dynamic, outgoing personality; strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential
• A strong work ethic, a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment is a must
• Must be able to travel as needed as well as work an occasional weekend auction
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook)

Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate plays a major role in customer satisfaction and fulfillment. This position provides support in all warehouse functions including order selection, packaging, quality control, shipping, receiving and inventory control.

Key responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Fulfilling product orders by accurately picking and packing product, inputting inventory updates through inventory system and shipping orders within required timeframes
  • Receiving incoming product by matching product to invoices, inputting product to inventory system and proper storage and location
  • Inventory control including cycle counts, physical inventory and reconciliation, inventory moves and accountability for all warehouse inventory accuracy
  • Processing commercial storage orders by matching various documents such as purchase orders and invoices to prepackaged boxes.
  • Being responsible for operation of all material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and cherry pickers
  • Helping setting up for local events and auctions.
  • Cleaning work areas and discard materials in the proper manner
  • Additional duties as assigned

  • Ability to work for periods of time in a warehouse environment
  • Must be a team player who is detail-oriented and understands the meaning of a deadline
  • Requires a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential
  • Ability to lift, hold, and carry 50+ lbs
