92 Points, Zachys Buying Team: "It is the wine that New Yorkers can proudly call their very own and you have heard us celebrate it before, here comes the sun (doo doo doo doo) and I say...Summer In A Bottle...! The warm weather may have gotten a slow start but we cannot think of another crowd-pleasing wine that screams summer from the bottle to the glass like this little gem from Long Island. Once again, the 2018 has an awesome and inviting texture - it is a concentrated expression of rosé - but like 2017 and 2016, we prefer the expression over the 2015 with its slightly crisper style. Sure, there is some zip and acidity, but with fresh fruit and nuances of tangerines, ripe strawberries, watermelon, honeysuckle, rose petals, and fleur de se from the nose to the palate. This is simply a fun and easy wine to enjoy. There is a succulent deliciousness that separates this from other rosé and it is not to be missed at your BBQ kick off - or your next holiday gathering! Back up the truck as this is one to serve well chilled all spring and summer - and the perfect addition for crispy pizza, shellfish, salad, grilled pork and chick, and we might add the Thanksgiving table - that is if you do not finish it all this summer."
