Sauvignon Blanc

Originating in the Loire Valley, Sauvignon Blanc is now grown all over the world. This breadth of growing regions means there's a style for almost everyone. The grape's name is a derivative of the French word, "Sauvage," translating to wild, as the vines can appear like wild grapes. Grown from green-skinned grapes, with green aromatics and a greenish hue, it comes as no surprise that Sauvignon Blancs pair best with herbaceous foods.
