Bordeaux Blend

It wasn't that long ago when blends were frowned upon in 'serious' wine productions, but thankfully times have changed. A blend of two or more of Bordeaux five core varietals, the classic Bordeaux blend pairs the aromatic elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot or Malbec with the boldness of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot to create vivid interpretation of a vintage. Intially found on the 'Right Bank' of Bordeaux, Bordeaux blends are now common throughout the world.
