95 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous: "The 2009 Extra-Brut Corne Bautray is rich, ample and creamy, with all of the radiance of the vintage very much on display. Readers will find a potent Chardonnay with so much depth and power that it almost feels like a Pinot. Orchard fruit, dried flowers, chamomile and tropical inflections all grace this extroverted, flamboyant Champagne. The 2009 is not exactly subtle, but its dramatic beauty can't be denied. 95 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "A distinctly cool nose reflects moderately mature aromas of apple, citrus, quinine and plenty of yeast influence. The wonderfully refined and precise flavors are supported by a strikingly fine and firm mousse that makes clear that this should age as long as anyone would reasonably like. This very dry effort possesses excellent depth and persistence and overall, this is a refined yet powerful and punchy blanc de blancs that is very much still on the way up. In a word, terrific. With pear, white peach, flowers and touches of honey, the bouquet is complex, but what is especially captivating is the elegant mineral scent.
