Germany

Germany is comprised of 13 wine growing sub-regions; Ahr, Baden, Franken, Hessische Bergstraße, Mittelrhein, Mosel, Nahe, Pfalz, Rheingau, Rheinhessen, Saale-Unstrut, Sachsen, and Württemberg, which are located in the southern part of the country. The most popular wines in Germany are both white wines, Riesling and Mosel. Due to it's long growing season and moderate summer climate, the wines produced are usually more delicate and contain less alcohol.
