This erupts from the glass with notes of green apple, sweet pears, lemon verbena, white flowers and brine. The pallet is powerful and persistent, but perfect held together by mouthwatering acidity. Despite the well rounded mouthfeel, the wine is remarkably finished with a long, mineral driven, and snappy finish. Gorgeous now, but plenty here to age with minimal effort." 3/20

89-91 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "Dominique Lafon has once again expanded the appellations offered under this label (see also the Château des Quarts below) adding vineyards in Mâcon-Prissé, St. Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé. Lafon, and his talented on-site winemaker Caroline Gon, quickly noted that 2017 "gave us pretty and charming wines that have fresh fruit and tender mouth feels that should allow them to drink well early and certainly earlier than their 2016 counterparts." The super-fresh and highly energetic flavors evidence ample minerality on the lingering finish that is also bone dry, clean and focused. This too is worth considering."
