92-94 Points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Valandraud 2018 Blanc comes sashaying out of the glass with beautiful orange blossoms, beeswax, crushed rocks and lime leaves scents over a core of green guava, pink grapefruit and yuzu. Medium to full-bodied, the palate bursts with citrus and tropical layers, with a satiny texture and fantastic tension, finishing long and mineral laced." 4/19

91-94 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous: "With the 2018 Valandraud Blanc, Murielle Andraud has crafed a white that is much brighter and more focused than in the past. That approach seems to have worked beautifully, as Valandraud Blanc is one of the more interesting whites of the year at this stage. Citrus peel, white pepper, flowers and mint shape this super-expressive wine. The blend is 50% Sauvignon Gris, 40% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Sémillon." 4/19

93-95 Points, Jeb Dunnuck: "Checking in as a blend of 50% Sauvignon Gris, 40% Sauvignon Blanc, and 10% Sémillon, the 2018 Valandraud Blanc is a powerful, medium to full-bodied white that somehow manages to stay incredibly pure, crisp and racy on the palate, with fabulous notes of white peach, crushed citrus, and brioche as well as an undeniable salty minerality. Hats off to the Thunevin team for fashioning such a terrific wine in this challenging vintage (speaking strictly in regard to the whites). It's going to benefit from a year in bottle and keep for over a decade." 5/19
