In late 2019, Tip Top Proper Cocktails launched in Atlanta, Georgia, enlisting the help of bartender Miles Macquarrie (a James Beard Award finalist) to craft perfect canned cocktails to satisfy a burgeoning need for cocktails on-the-go. Based on a formula that "proper" cocktails are "always balanced" and "never too sweet", their perfectly prepared elixirs were an immediate hit in the Southeast

Little did they know that just nine months later, their "Stirred Collection" – the Manhattan, Negroni and Old-Fashioned – would become the beloved cocktail format across the United States during COVID. Not ones to rest on their laurels, the team immediately set out to expand their offering with a "Shaken" line, which includes a Daiquiri, Margarita and the Bee's Knees (a gin and honey-based blend).

The Old Fashioned is the original cocktail. It’s as classic as it gets and, when done right, it’s the mark of a master. You want to taste the bourbon, followed by a hint of sweet orangey citrus and rounded out at the finish with the warming spice of bitters.
